Don’t let the federal government tell you how your child should interact with AI.
Please contact Senator Moody and Senator Scott and tell them to NOT support the proposed 10-year ban on new AI regulations or laws at the state level.
Currently, the House version of the Federal Reconciliation bill, also known as “The Big Beautiful Bill,” that has been sent over to the Senate includes this language:
“Subsection (c) states that no state or political subdivision may enforce any law or
regulation regulating artificial intelligence models, artificial intelligence systems, or automated decision systems during the 10-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act.”
While we support the overall reconciliation bill, we believe this proposed AI ban added by the US House is a direct violation of your ability to have a say in your child’s interaction with AI in education.
