Florida Citizens Alliance About

Our mission

To serve Florida families by expanding access to personalized learning through high-quality, faith-based education solutions.

What We Do

Through community outreach, scholarships, education alternatives, and legislative action, Florida Citizens Alliance provides solutions for improving K-12 education and protecting children in Florida.

What motivates us

We are motivated every time we see a child and their parents take advantage of their education. We strive to educate parents on their options so that they feel empowered to make the best decision for their family.

Our public education system is failing America’s students academically, civically and morally. Florida children are being indoctrinated in a public school system that undermines their individual rights and destroys our nation’s founding principles and family values.

What we Do

Our primary causes

At Florida Citizens Alliance, our primary causes revolve around promoting legislative action, engaging local communities, and providing alternative education resources and microschool options. We actively advocate for meaningful education reform through collaboration with policymakers, while our KIDS FIRST teams engage parents, teachers, and students to empower them in making informed decisions about education. By uniting and empowering teachers, students, and parents, we strive to create a brighter future for families and students in Florida and prioritizing academic excellence, individual rights, and family values.

Community Involvement

We engage with community leaders to help them understand current issues in our public education system how each of them can help to improve it…putting the kids first.

Education Solutions

We provide parents and grandparents with alternative education resources, such as scholarship information and microschool options, so that you can easily choose the best education for your family.

Legislative Action

We advocate for parental choice and solutions that fuel student success with 100% of donations going directly to educating the public and supporting legislative action.

Our STATEMENT OF Faith

We believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.

We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church. We confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.

Our Core Values

Economic Freedom

We embrace and value the individual’s creative and productive energies. We seek to enable individual initiative by affirming private property rights, the sanctity of contracts, and open, competitive markets. We resist the inherently restrictive nature of an overbearing government safety net and see it as entrapping; antithetical to self-respect.

Individual Liberty

We affirm the words of the Declaration of Independence, that all people “are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights. ”It is the purpose of government to secure the rights of the individual. We respect the individual autonomy of all individuals and their right to use and/or dispose of their property in pursuit of their own aspirations. We affirm the responsibility of all citizens to respect the rights of others.

Optimism

We remain inherently optimistic because we believe in the capability of people to manage their own affairs and advance their ideas and ideals.

Virtue

We call on each other to live lives that reflect the ideals of liberty. Such lives are characterized by morality and righteousness as evidenced by a proper pride of character demonstrated by humility, self-restraint, self-discipline and self-reliance.

Community

We hope to develop a dynamic partnership with all groups seeking to inspire a rebirth of liberty in Southwest Florida. In our role as a coalition, we value working together while supporting and encouraging the initiatives of local groups in their communities.

Courage

We commit to each other a conviction to live principled lives characterized by the highest values. We agree that there must be congruence between our words and actions.
